Dear Colleagues! We invite you to take part in the international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the International University of Kyrgyzstan “University 4.0 – University of the Future on the Path to Sustainable Development: Modern Trends, Challenges and Prospects”. The conference will take place on April 18-19, 2023.

In today’s rapidly changing world, it becomes in demand not only to have knowledge, to be able to conduct research aimed at the development of society or the economy, but also to create innovations to contribute to social and economic development. In Kyrgyzstan, for this purpose, a roadmap has been developed for the transformation of the university system into the “University 4.0” model.

The purpose of the conference is to determine the priorities of education and science for the formation and functioning of the University 4.0, which should become the center for the creation of intellectual property, new technological industries, knowledge and information economy.

The conference welcomes multidisciplinary research, as well as advanced results in various fields of science, including the block of economic sciences – business economics, management, regional economics, environmental economics, state regulation of the economy, – the block of humanities – philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, law, psychology, pedagogy, conflictology, block of medical sciences, block of INC-sciences – ICT, ICT in economics, block of mathematical and natural sciences.

Participation in events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the International University of Kyrgyzstan

Pre-registration of conference participants and acceptance of materials are carried out from October 24, 2022 to January 30, 2023 through the contact form on this website or by application / letter to e-mail (e-mail): smu.iyk@mail.ru.

Participation in the conference is possible in various forms:

  • off-line or on-line participation with a report at the conference with subsequent publication of the conference materials in a scientific periodical in the form of a scientific article;
  • absentee participation with subsequent publication of the conference materials in a scientific periodical in the form of a scientific article;
  • participation as a listener with the opportunity to participate in the discussion of reports presented at the conference (without a report, without publishing materials in a scientific periodical in the form of a scientific article).

Submission Rules

      1. 1) The file name is formed from the surname of the first author, for example, “Adamov”

      1. 2) Articles that have the greatest scientific relevance, in agreement with the authors and the decision of the organizing committee of the conference, will be published:

      1. – in a series of books published by Springer (an international publishing company specializing in the publication of academic journals and books in the natural sciences: theoretical science, medicine, economics, engineering, architecture, construction and transport), which will be peer-reviewed in international citation databases

      1. – in the anniversary issue of the journal “Bulletin of the International University of Kyrgyzstan”

      1. 3) Articles will be published subject to their registration in accordance with editorial requirements

To ensure compliance with publication ethics and copyright, all materials must be checked for incorrect borrowing (plagiarism) using the Antiplagiarism services (at least 85% of the author’s text is allowed).

The editorial board reserves the right to reject materials. The author of the materials is responsible for the correctness and reliability of the data provided. Submissions that do not comply with the requirements may be rejected. The publication can include no more than 2 articles by one author or group of authors. Materials from 7 to 12 pages inclusive are accepted, which include tables, illustrations and a list of references provided by the author.

After consideration of the application and publications, the organizing committee of the conference informs the authors about the acceptance of the article for publication (by e-mail).

The organizing committee reserves the right not to include the following submitted materials in the scientific publication:

1) not corresponding to the theme or not corresponding to the level of international conferences;

2) issued in violation of the requirements;

3) received after January 30, 2023

    Requirements for articles in the Springer book series

    The first and main requirement for the article is that the article submitted by you for publication is original and has not been previously published (excluding cases of publication of an abstract or part of an academic course). It must also not be subsequently published elsewhere than in this edition.

    The publisher and the journal have an anti-plagiarism policy. The issue is checked by two methods: preliminary plagiarism checker tools (iThenticate) and peer review. All submitted articles are checked by an electronic system for plagiarism before they are sent to the experts. The work must be done in MS Word editors.

    Editors reserve the right to edit articles and make necessary changes, but they must be agreed with the authors prior to publication. If you have any questions, please contact the editor.

    The text of the article should be written in good English, the use of English and American versions is allowed, but their mixing is not allowed.

    General requirements

    After reviewing the received articles, the authors will be sent a review on the compliance of the scientific material with the requirements of the Publishing House. With a positive review, the correspondent author indicated in the article is sent a contract and an invoice for payment.

    The cost of publication is 30,000 rubles.
    No more than 5 authors per article

    Requirements and an example of the design of the article are presented below.

    For reviewing, the article is provided in the Russian version. The final version of the article for printing is provided in the English version.
    If necessary, the organizing committee undertakes to translate the article into English.
    Translation depending on the number of pages, the price is determined after delivery of the publication.
    Dear authors, please note that the uniqueness of the Russian version of the article must be at least 85%.

    Scope and design of the article

    The optimal length of the article is 12 pages. Primary font: Times New Roman – 14.
    Indents between paragraphs: before a paragraph – 0, after a paragraph – 0. Line spacing: one and a half.
    Paragraph indent: 1.25 cm.
    The title (first) page should include:
    title of the article, names, educational institutions and addresses of authors;
    name and full address of the author for correspondence;
    annotation;
    5-7 keywords;
    at least 1 JEL code (multiple possible).

    The title should be short and informative. The title of the article is often used by search engines, so it should not contain more than 12 words, abbreviations and extra words.

    Authors’ names. Preferred form of indicating the author’s full name: First name. Patronymic (initials), Surname. This form reduces the number of errors in determining the identity of the author. List all ranks and degrees. You must also specify an ORCID.

    It is also necessary to indicate the institution in which the study was conducted, as well as the sources of its funding (grants, if any, etc.).

    If the author’s research was supported by two institutions, indicate both; if 3 or more, only the 2 most important ones and the inscription “and others”. If the author is not associated with any institution, the name of the city of his/her residence should be indicated.

    The names of the authors should be given according to the degree of contribution to the study, centered.

    Be sure to include the full mailing address of the contact person for correspondence.

    Abstract (150-250 words). The abstract should contain the purpose of the work, methodology, results and conclusions/recommendations.

    Keywords (from 7 to 10) in alphabetical order, without prepositions and conjunctions, only world-famous abbreviations are allowed

    Use footnotes only as a last resort (explanations at the end of the article)

    JEL Classification Codes. The content of the classifier can be found at the link: www.aeaweb.org/jel/guide/jel.php

    Formulas are typed in the same font as the main text, are located in the center with an indication of the serial number along the right edge of the page.

    Tables are numbered sequentially as they appear in the text. The title of the table is located above it, the description is below the table. The maximum number of tables is 2.

    Avoid vertical borders. Make sure that the data in the table does not duplicate the results described elsewhere in the article. You can make the table size according to the page width.

    Figures are numbered consecutively according to their appearance in the text. The title of the figure and its description are located below it. The resolution of the drawings is at least 300 DPI. You can resize the picture to fit the width of the page. The maximum number of drawings is 2.

    Citation in the article: references in the text are given in square brackets.

    The list of sources at the end of the article (at least 10 sources!!!; sources should be numbered 1,2,3, etc.) should be in alphabetical order.

    Year of publication of the book: 2023 or early 2024 – each submitted article will be reviewed in the international citation databases SCOPUS and WOS, will be published in a series of books published by Springer.
